1. Personal identification information.
We may collect personal identification information from Users including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, date of birth and location. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.


2. Non-personal identification information.
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include a nickname people will use to refer to you, the gender you associate with, your sexual orientation and your gender identity. Additional information may also include relationship information and a description of yourself. Users can always refuse to supply any or all of this information but it may limit their involvement in the community.

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. itaboo may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

We do our best but can not guarantee that information you share on itaboo will not become publicly available. We are not responsible for third party circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on itaboo. We are not responsible for any loss of privacy due to poor anti-virus, firewall issues or similar unsafe practices on Users equipment.
5.3. Your profile information is yours to amend and delete at any time you choose. The only time we will intervene is if your content breaks our Terms of Use.

6. Sharing your personal information
6.1. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade members’ personal information with third parties for their commercial purposes. We do however sometimes share certain aggregated, non-personally identifying information with others about how the community collectively uses itaboo.com. For example, we may compile statistics on how many daily, weekly, and monthly active members we have. However, we do not sell this information to advertisers or marketers.

6.2. The only times we’ll ever share your info is:
6.2.1. To provide products or services you’ve requested.
6.2.2. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
6.2.3. If itaboo.com is acquired by or merged with another company — we don’t plan on that, but if it happens — we’ll notify you well before any info about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.


7. Compliance with the Law.
We may disclose your information if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of anyone; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect itaboo's rights or property.


8. How is the information stored.
We use third-party vendors and hosting partners for hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology we need to run itaboo. All data is written to multiple disks instantly, backed up daily, and stored in more than one location.


9. How is the information secured.
Whenever possible your data is in transit between you and us, everything is encrypted and sent using the HTTPS protocol.  

10. Data Retention Policy.
Deleted items from your profile will no longer be accessible for another member on the site, but depending on the content type, it will take up to one month for it to be permanently deleted from our database. When you request your account to be deleted, it's enqueued for 48 hours and then permanently deleted from our database.

11. Manage and delete Information.
Information on your profile can be edited, modified and updated by you an any moment through the section Edit Profile.
You can temporarily hide or permanently close your profile by using the options implemented at the bottom of your Profile page in the Edit section.

12. Content.
Comments and discussions are not routinely monitored and rely on the Users to report any content which is in violation of our Terms of Use. Blatantly illegal content, media or writing will be subject to our policy on compliance with the law stated above. It will be removed and appropriate action taken.

13. Compliance with children's online privacy protection act.
Protecting the privacy of the young is especially important. iTaboo.com does not allow underaged people (< 18 years old) to visit the site or register an account.

14. Third party websites.
Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensor's and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that websites own terms and policies.

15. Advertising.
Ads appearing on our site may be delivered to Users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile non personal identification information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This privacy policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

16. Transfer of Business.
In the event that itaboo.com is involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part of that transaction. Every en-devour will be made to ensure this privacy policy will apply to your information should it be transferred to a new entity.

itaboo has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

18. Your acceptance of these terms.
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
